Shanghai Expo 2010 pavilions

The United Kingdom’s pavilion
Luxembourg’s pavilion

The Shanghai Expo 2010 begins this weekend and if there’s one aspect of it that I find utterly fantastic it’s the unique architecture every country is bringing to their individual pavilions. I have collected some of my favorites here.

More images after the jump.

China’s pavilion
Spain’s pavilion
South Korea’s pavilion
Mexico’s pavilion
Finland’s pavilion

The different pavilions for each country are little calling cards, encapsulating a distilled essence of what that respective country wants to show and display about themselves. Be it tradition, modernity, scientific advancement, or natural beauty its interesting to see how each define and represent themselves.

There are many more images over at Arch Daily, where I grabbed the ones above, check them out here.
