Arcade Fire + Chris Milk = Interactive Music “Video”

Arcade Fire and director Chris Milk have teamed up to release an interactive music “video” for the band’s newest single “We Used To Wait”. What makes this less of a video and more of an interactive experience is that you choose the destination that the main character, a genderless, running, hooded figure must deliver a message to. The concept being that using Google street and earth views you become part of the experience as this figure delivers a note to “you” in your past.

Brilliant idea and the execution is pretty wild, with images emerging and then vanishing off your desktop quickly. I only hope your computer has a fast enough processor to take it all in.
