It may not be the most visually appealing passenger balloon (seriously, Paris, this needs to look like these!), the Air De Paris has become a beacon and a teaching tool. Acting as a giant air quality monitor, it changes colors (most impressively at night) from green to red, depending on how bad the city’s air gets. With an audience of over 400,000 citizens, it not only provides essential information for our modern city lives, but also does it in a poetic way.
