Urban Forest project

Above is the design I created for the newest installment of the Urban Forest Project. This time centered in Washington DC, it aims to promote sustainable ideas and Earth-friendly practices. I’m proud to have chosen along with a handful of other designers from the hundreds and hundreds of submissions. Hopefully my little design will help people more clearly see the connection between our city and our environment. This and the other chosen designs will be produced as vinyl banners to be hung around the city for the spring and then recycled into tote bags, the proceeds of which go to back into the Urban Forest Project. I will update with pics of the banner once it’s up above the streets of DC!

from tires to art

An interesting use for all those old tires, Korean artist Ji Yong Ho transforms them animals, monsters and various other creative forms. See the rest of his sculptures here.
